Late to watching this one because of work the last few days, but just wanted to say I love Paddy Considine's acting here so much. He took Viserys from the bumbling, bored king who wanted glory and a male heir, to a deeply sorrowful family leader who just wanted to see the people he loved most in the world come together over their similarities instead of be divided by their differences. Great stuff. Also Daemon's eye-roll during the prayer at dinner was fucking hilarious.

I think the roasted pig wasn't coincidence, I think it was Aemond's way to tell that he is over those childish pranks, that he is stronger than that. And I'm not sure if I misinterpret what you said when Rhaenys and Rhaenyra were talking with each other, but Laenor's escape was Rhaenyra's and Daemon's plan all along. That's why Daemon instructed that the Laenor's murder has to be witnessed.

I wasn't sure if that was Daemon's plan and Rhaenyra didn't know anything about it. When she swears to Rhaenys that she wasn't part of it, that was the only time I questioned if she knew everything or not.

Remember when Rhaenyra is watching Vhagar leave and Daemon comes up and she says “Fire is a prison…the Sea offers an escape.” That was her subtly telling Daemon that Laenor offered up the plan. Her swearing to Rhaenys that she didn’t kill Laenor was simply her just saying that she didn’t kill him (because obviously she didn’t even though that’s what everyone thinks.) “We’ll know the truth of it and our enemies won’t.”
