2023-04-14 14:15:25 Just went through the first episode with you on this one. Yeah, the end of that first episode is definitely designed for the Shock Value moment. I’m curious to see how the animated series goes compared to the comics. The comics kinda eventually started really trying to re-up its own shock value and lost me after a while. I wonder if Amazon will make them tone it down at all. I do appreciate that this season 1 was all about. Building a world with lots of villains, and hey, it’s already renewed for seasons 2 & 3, so we’ll see!

It's definitely easy to get desensitized with the violence. I love shock value, but I hope they don't do stuff to just be shocking.
