A lot has happened to get you and our characters to this point in the story, and you're only halfway through! Keep in mind that you've still got a long way to go, with plenty of story left to unfold. I'm excited for what's in store for you. *I've kept this vague on purpose. Oooooh. I LOVE this season. Love it. Can't wait to discuss it with you, because I have some...opinions. I don't want to spill the beans on that character just yet. Let's just say that at this point, you might find #5 to be a bit surprising. 😉

My number one was easy cause Drummer DRUMMER DRUMMER!!! Cara Gee deserves so much credit for making this character so iconic and season 3 is when she really just takes off. My top 5: 1. Drummer 2. Amos 3. Chrisjen 4. Naomi 5. Anna/Prax Curious to see which REDACTED characters people have included there is definitely one that just barely missed my top 5 and I’m curious if it’s the same as everyone else’s.

I loved the first contact reference, seems to be a forgotten movie but I feel is the best of all the ST, my number 2 would be undiscovered country, certainly best of TOS cast. Top 5 1 Drummer 2 amos/Alex too hard to pick but I love both for various reasons 3 maybe Amos over alex 4 Crisjen 5 Holden

The Melba/Clarissa tooth thing. There IS universe explanation but it is a "Blink and you'll miss it" type of thing, so not a spoiler, BUT I'm not gonna post it unless you want to haunt that Episode for "easter eggs". What I can tell you is, that in the books she rotates her tongue on the roof of her mouth to activate it, and because that would be really hard to show on a visual media, they went the route they did. Hooray for visual storytelling.

There isn't a really set in stone list, because every character is amazing, but a basic list for me would be... screw it no chance of just having one person per spot, and even then the ranking is so close 😅: 1a. Drummer, Amos 1b. Avasarala, Bobbie, Naomi 1c. Holden, Alex, Ashford 2a. Ashford, Cotyar, Dawes 2b. Champa, Nico, Anna, Prax, Kirino, Errinwright 3abcdefg.... etc... pretty much most other characters (Arjun Avasarla, Frank, etc.). One special bottom place, I'll call it the "Toilet Throne"... Diogo, aka "You little Shit" If I have would have to name somehow a bottom of the list, there are 2 "bad" ones, but only in the sense of bad in-world people, not in any way meaning bad actors and also not bad character building: Nguyen and Strickland.

I initially hated Diogo, but if we are honest, he probably best represents how most Belters think and act. Dawes, Johnson, even Miller are the elite Beltalowda - they have professions, connections, etc. But Diogo is a true son of the Belt - all he has is his perspective. The lil' sh*t...

Interesting point. I do think though that Dawes, Drummer, and Ashford have been in similar situations in their youth, but each has taken their own path on how to ascend into higher Belter spheres. And Diogo is also the victim of many young man today, being blinded by some leadership figure and following that without taking at least some moment to think about what they are asked to do. In a sense, Diogo is actually to be mourned. Then again, Miller did give him some advice in that direction that the system is playing him. Overall, the "Toilet Throne" is not necessarily meant to be the absolute bottom tier, but more the fact that several people in the show called him "Little Shit" :D

The Toilet Throne is a fine Belter award. I would have given it to Maneo for "biting deep" into the unknown (after drinking his own pee), but Diogo is the type of dude that would survive a nuclear holocaust. He's basically a space cockroach. When FLGR said that floating in space would be terrifying, I remember thinking that for Diogo, that's probably the closest thing to being inside a womb.
