I never saw reactor guess so fast that Melba is Mao . I sure didn't . Her motivation and everything about her is done I think better in the books since a lot of it is in her head and she is Point of view character , but I think that show did good enough job to put that on the screen . Problem and awesomeness of 2nd half of season 3 is that it's entire 3rd book in it so it's so it's fast past , but unfortunately it also sacrifice a little on some story lines . Anyhow throw crazy theories and guesses out there you are good at it 😀 . Amazing reaction can't wait for next one and since I know you are few episodes ahead ( if you didn't finish season already ) I know you already know where Holden is going 😀

As someone who reacts to stuff all the time you might not have the bandwidth, but when you’re done, wait six months or a year and binge them all again from start to finish and you’ll see a whole new set of things you missed, references, foreshadowing and entire subplots you didn’t even notice the first time through.

Congrats on the Melba prediction, you nailed it. I hope you've had a chance to check out a few Cara Gee interviews. She comes off as this upbeat, almost goofy Toronto girl, which makes her transformation into Drummer all the more impressive. It was shocking because I thought perhaps English wasn't Cara's first language, she's so consistent in her character, from her accent to her cynical outlook. What a great actor.

Jules Pierre-Mao isn't just a terrible human being with an extremely overblown sense of ego but also a terrible father to both daughters playing favorites. We don't have to condone what Clarissa aka Melba is doing but at least it makes sense from a character perspective. One of the many things this show excels at.

I've definitely noticed when it comes to the stories i the second half of the season there is a lack of coorelation. Something feels off. I think I can tell the book was jammed into the second half. After 10 I was off a bit.

Popular opinion is that they knew they will be canceled so they tried to finish with end of book 3 where you sorta have conclusion of some story elements and you feel less angry it ends there if it have to end . I will onih say once they got picked by Amazon they did address in following seasons some of does issues created in 2nd half of the 3rd season to add extra explanations for some things . I know from the bottom of my heart that when you finish the show you will be fulfilled and happy with the way how it ends . Well and then you will want to red last 3 books :)

In fact, it's gonna start testing you to see just how well you were paying attention during the first couple of seasons...and episodes, right up to the final moments of the series. There's a HUGE advantage of the writers of the books also being the writers of the series.

One of my favorites is when Cara and Dom were guests on the Afterbuzz TV aftershow for S3 E10. They really tear it up, lol. . Got to wait until after Ep 10, though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chbJOfDeF04&t=31s It was recorded right after the ep so no future spoilers. The vid has really crappy quality so I hope it doesn't detract too much.

Family is full of narcissists, terrorists and psychopaths. The kind of grimdark future that would fit into a Warhammer 40,000 setting. Still fantastic characters, though. I've only met 1 character in the show in total that I couldn't stand at all, even among the villains – and that's probably by design, too.
