To clarify on what would be fighting Jane's ability to heal... in the comics, for the most part Mjölnir preserves the person and eliminates all impurities or toxins. Chemotherapy is essentially poison rather than straight up medicine... we use it to kill cancer cells and healthier non-cancer cells hopefully survive. But the tricky thing is, cancer cells are your cells, they just lack normal function... so the cancer cells aren't killed. In the movie it seems they've gone more the route with mortal vitality being unable to hold up to the power, but I'm not 100 % sure.

Bret Goldstein (Hercules) is absolutely wonderful in Ted Lasso. If you haven't watched that show, I'd recommend doing it, probably on your own time rather than for the channel. It's the most non-toxic positive show out there, and the characters are just delightful. I believe he was nominated for an Emmy for playing a foul mouthed aging soccer star with a heart of gold. I haven't read the books, but I've been told in the comics, Hercules is a fairly major player, so I'd imagine he may be the next villain/anti-hero for the Thor franchise.
