"He can't even handle one girlfriend" lol Makes you wonder if dating DupliKate really is like dating more than one girl. Anyways, you already finished so it's safe to say that Amber is the character the fandom hates the most. Unless things have changed in the past year, once you upload the next episode on Youtube you'll see the extent of the venom towards her. It's an overreaction in my opinion, but it would be easier to defend her if she hadn't accused Mark of abandoning them in this episode when she knew he didn't. Although he did abandon Rick and William while he was chasing after her, but that happened after. Otherwise, I think her behavior was perfectly normal for a teenager, and even laudable cause she was giving him every opportunity to come clean on his own terms. Didn't know Ezra Miller voiced Sinclair. Wish I didn't.

I think they are both a mess and are not compatible. I didn't know she knew about him being a super hero till the next episode and that's a lie all in it self. If she knew she should've confronted him. She'd never been shy before.

Their relationship has been a real mess, and it will probably stay that way cause apparently we need drama. I generally worry about romance plots, because as my sister likes to say, "Horror movies are Comedies, while Romantic Comedies are Horror movies." The writers seem like they were trying to make a point about how lying is toxic for any relationship, but I think they didn't realize that the point was going to be lost in the outrage when she reveals that she always knew. Cause that means that she accused Mark of abandoning everyone during the fight when it would have, as you said, made more sense for her to finally call him out about what she knew/suspected of him or simply end things with the explanation that she can't be with someone that repeatedly lies to her face regardless of the reasons. I really loved the character and it bothered me that the writers unintentionally made her a bit hypocritical. Which is fine. Doing something hypocritical is very human, but a character as intelligent as Amber would've realized the mistake she made by the end of the season. I just don't think the writers realized that they had her get angry at someone for lying, while she was also being purposely misleading. Since the writers didn't realize it, Amber couldn't realize it. They will probably have to address that come season 2 if they want the character to come back into the fandom's good graces. She's still cool with me, but that's because I tend to give fictional characters some leeway when their actions come from writer error. I've heard that Amber in the comics had no idea, and was shocked by the reveal, which made her more sympathetic to the readers. Can't wait for the rest of your reactions!
