@Saheed, Did you get that from or give that to another reactor? Say... A married couple team reactor? I've heard that before, just without the plural.

Saheed Bello

Its what the expanse fan base call Amos/Wes. It is a term of endearment. A couple of reactors might have mentioned it but i don't remember any specifics. I have watched over 15 reactions to the expanse:0

I guess the days are gone when women used to like the rugged handsome guy (Miller), and now just go for the guy with the cute little face (Amos), I guess I'm old lol. Miller watched a video call between Julie and her Father, where she was being very defiant, she was wearing that necklace. Love Alex and his donkey balls lol.

Nonman

Miller is my favorite character, besides another one whom we'll meet in S3.

Kenzo is Avasaralas spy, the one she "borrowed" from the guy she threatened in the aquarium when she sent her grandchild to get ice cream. The same one the Errinwright said had missed his last couple of check-ins. I'm amazed at how many times you have unknowingly and randomly said things that actually come into play later. It's cracking me up. And yeah, Miller left his "Earther" hat on Ceres.

Deana DeWall

Me tooI And I know who you're talking about, but there's another Belter introduced in S2 that became my favorite.

Ivo Costa

Not talking specifically about this reactor, but i still get baffled by the amount of reactors i´ve seen go "who´s that guy?"/"what´s he doing?" when they first see Kenzo SPYING on Holden and Naomi, and still don´t connect the dots when in this episode he says he´s a SPY...and worse, there are some who never make the connection until the end of episode 8. Long attention spans and good short term memory are becoming a thing of the past.

Saheed Bello

Good ole Amos Mr murder snuggles.

T. Arnold Ferguson

To be honest, I don't think I made the connection till this episode when Errinwright said, "your spy's been compromised." (And I give myself a dope-slap during rewatches when I see how obvious it is.)

The Churn is also a great novella on Amos's backstory in Baltimore.

Rob C

Indeed it is, but I'd hold off reading it until after watching season 5.

Alex Antonio

Yeah, the way they weave his backstory into the series, it's better to wait on reading it.

R L

Agreed. IF anyone plans on reading the books after watching the show, "The Churn is... Ideally, I would read it prior to Leviathan Wakes along with The Butcher and Drive.

Rusty Littell

Quixotic; notice that Cervantez was Holden's favorite author, and the episode name is 'Windmills.' Rocinante, Cervantez, Windmills...Quixotic.

Rusty Littell

Agreed, both that it is a must read, and that it should be read just after (or before) the episode titled "Churn" (S5 E2)

Peadar O'Ruadhán

I read the Churn some where in Season 4, during my reading of the novels. From the persepective of the show, I wish I hadn't because the way they drip feed Amos's backstory is brilliant IMO. I'd leave it until season 5 ep 2 as Rusty suggests.
