Miller is gross? He's my #1 favorite in the show, until another Belter takes that spot next season. One thing u always need to remember is that there isn't a conspiracy around every corner...too many reactors fell into these rabbit holes that they had a difficult time getting out of. This show isn't like others. You're right where u need to be at this point, and I'm loving your reactions.

Agreed. Too many other reactors try to figure out what's happening by using the tropes of other shows. They failed to remember The Expanse is NOT other shows.

The scene with Diogo and Uncle Mateo was when I knew Expanse would be a great, not just good, show. The emotional swing from when you think Mateo is spacing Diogo out of anger, and then realizing it is to save his life, is just gut-wrenching, and representative of similar emotional swings throughout the series.

Miller is gross to me but he is growing on me. Amos is definitely the character I'm attached to the most. I'm having a lot of fun trying to get ahead of the story and guess where its going and I love that I'm failing miserably.

Yeah, the biggest issue is you have 15-30 seconds of useful consciousness. It's something like a minute to a minute and a half before permanent damage sets in. It probably wouldn't feel that great, but I'm guessing neither would a shorting wire in your face. :)

It's totally understandable that you are fully pro belter at the moment. What you will discover is that there are are good people in every faction, many of whom you haven't met yet. Yes, Amos grew up in brothels. I just deleted the rest of my comment about him where I mentioned his fan nickname. Chrisjen is a terrifying character, she has no limits on what she will do if she feels it necessary. Just remember, we have already seen that not everything she says is the whole truth.

Jared Harris absolutely nails the role of Dawes. That speech about his sister Athena gets me every time. Coincidentally (maybe?), Octavia is played by Athena Karkanis, and I love that scene with her and Miller. Terrible advice. 🤣😂 I love that they obviously have chemistry and history but the show, as it does often, avoids the trope we expect.

I don't think anyone else mentioned it yet, but Diogo was the water thief that Miller busted back in episode 1 or 2.
