Finally got the time to watch your reaction. I was pretty busy the last couple of days but looked forward to your reaction. When I watched this episode Friday night, it drained me emotionally. When it came to an end I was desperately in need of a drink, something STRONG ..... unfortunately, I did not have any adult beverage at home.

2023-04-15 10:00:40 I'll miss Eddie, but it was going to be hard to have him stick around with the whole town against him. Let's be honest, nothing would've convinced them that he was innocent. Giving him a heroic end was probably the best we could hope for. I'm very grateful for that scene with Dustin & Eddie's uncle. The town may never know what Eddie did for them, but Eddie's uncle deserved to know. I was also glad for the reveal that Vecna WAS the Mind Flayer. Vecna didn't strike me as the kind of character that would be subservient to anything, so making him the Big Bad made sense. It also gives more weight to the inevitable Final Battle between Vecna and Eleven. I've also heard that there will be a time jump for Season 5, but that ending scene of Season 4 doesn't seem to lend itself to a time jump. The danger seems pretty immediate. Besides, if the point of the time jump is to account for the kids aging in real life, I doubt their aging will be as noticeable as it was between Season 3 and 4. Oh, and I didn't realize that seeing Robin dressed like she was auditioning for Red Dawn was something that I needed in my life so badly :)

I definitely got the vibe Vecna was the main boss. The spider connection and the Mind Flayer shape was smart, I feel reconned, but it was a nice touch. Eddie will leave a hole in my heart for a long time. OMG I'm stull so sad about him dying. I've watched other reactions, Nikki and Steve and The Normies and I'm glad I wasn't the only one losing it. AND MAX. Her mind being empty was so strak and cold and sad. Next season is going to be nuts. El at full strength and probably learning more. Where is Owen's? UGH two years are going to take forever!
