Not a spoiler, but when this happened in the campaign (in the episode titled Cloak and Dagger, so kinda knew it was coming this episode) Ripley didn’t get away…..so we are just as in the dark as you as to what’s going to happen with her 😳 I actually love that they’ve changed or reworked some plots so those of us who watched the campaign are still kept on our toes!

This episode... damn. I can only think of one other animated show that hits as hard as some of these CR episodes. Like, I expected the show was going to be fun, in a doesn't-take-itself-too-seriously sort of way. But the whole story and production and ...everything is just rivaling anything I've seen before and it blows my mind.

Yes saw it coming (watched the campaign live as it happened) Pros: only one for years I said give Ripley the Guts cannon arm from Berserk, so the sleeve gun derringer made me so happy cause thats the type of stuff she would have. Cons: WTF! No one needed that flash back. Anna is not a sympathetic character. She is Snidely K. Whiplash, she is a saturday morning cartoon villian, if she had a mustache she would twirl it. Didn't like the factory never happened in game the whole episode felt too much like Arcane to me. Pikes crisis of faith (This is a biggie) I dont like that, cause of the implications of casting away God to rely solely on ones self. The addition of Zerxus as the devil on Pikes sholder trying to corrupt her scares me (that "healing" was glowing with the same hellish orange color). I hope she doesn't cast away her faith. I dont know were that goes from here. The obvious path for a cartoon show is she strikes a deal with Zerxus for Percys resurrection. The next episode is gonna be hard to warch people react to.

I like that they're giving Pike more characterization, since she barely got any in the campaign. I'm sure this is done with Ashley's input. There is a theory going around that relates to the end of Downfall. I don't think she's going to strike a deal with Zerxus. I think she's going to find out what her special blood actually is and where it comes from.
