Yes! One of the best episodes, have been eagerly waiting for weeks for this!

I love this episode so much. Hohenheim's backstory connects and elaborates so many vital plot points. Now it's time for the rollercoaster ride until the end.

Rando

Roy and Riza make a great team saying so much with so little. And Fatherheims backstory is also wild! As for your Hohenhiem / alkahestry questions, i recomend rewatching episode 18. There is some pretty heavy forshadowing in that ep!

Arjun

True. I recall almost every episode being a cliffhanger from here on out. Not like Conflict in Baschool kinda cliffhanger but eyes wide mouth open staring at the screen in silence kinda cliffhangers

I'm so glad you decided to do this series and that you are loving it so much. Watching your reactions and the gears turn in your head never disappoints. 👏

Ugh, this show is good! I'm going to need to take a break from anime when we finish this. I can't give my heart to another so soon after Brotherhood 😢

Fun Facts: The dwarf in the flask first tries to name him Theophrastus Bomastus and then settles on von Hohenheim, well, there is a famous Alchemist in our history that had the name Philippus Aureolus Theophrastus Bomastus von Hohenheim, aka Paracelsus! Also, von Hohenheim and his sons have a different kind of blond then everybody else, because they are last descendents of Xerxes! And we have heard previously that after the fall of Xerxes a mysterious figure arrived in Amestris and founded Alchemy, another one arrived in Xing and founded Alcahestry. Two guesses who they were... And last, before he heals Izumi he apologizes, a lot of people think he means Izumi but I'm pretty sure he apologizes to the soul he has to consume to heal her!

Been waiting for this one

Ah, sweet, sweet vindication for Hoenheim. He's still not winning Father of the Year, but it makes total sense for a guy who always wanted a family to not want to outlive his family.
