This movie was a love letter to these past few decades where suddenly it was cool to be a nerd. Where we grew up with X-Men, Spiderman, and the movies, cartoons, toys, games. We grew up in this awesome age with lord of the rings bringing fantasy, and we were all talking about these movies. We credit so much to the MCU, but really we had way more.

Ryan Reynolds posted a cutscene of Gambit with the marvel sparkle circle. So we will be seeing Channing Tatum's Gambit again hopefully! But what about Rogue? We deserve the real Rogue from the animated series! And they need to fall in love with each other too! We deserve that!

So I'm not sure if you know the story of why Channing played Gambit in this but here goes. After Fox's original Xmen Trilogy, Channing tried for YEARS to get a Gambit movie made with himself starring. Unfortunately it got stuck in developmental hell for about a decade before or was finally canceled altogether. Ryan asking him up to play Gambit here was letting Channing fulfill a childhood dream.

Thank you and Xander for doing a longer uncensored version, so much fun watching you react to this movie. Blade entrance was so damn badass, probably one of the best entrances I have ever seen. Love that they did a little Fox edit at the end, makes you appreciate the movies more than before. I also thought Cassandra was really cool, hopefully we see more of her, the actress was fantastic. And hopefully we see Hugh Jackman's Wolverine until he is 90! (I also would love to see more Henry Cavill's Wolverine, I actually knew it was him from the behind shot, no idea how, but I knew lol)

I'm surprised it was someone else dancing. Memorizing that dance seems like the kind of thing Ryan Reynolds would do on his own and then use that as an excuse to put it in the movie afterwards.

Regarding Wesley Snipes showing up as Blade, it's doubly-impressive because he and Ryan Reynolds did not get along while filming "Blade: Trinity". There's a lot of stories about Wesley being difficult on-set for that movie. But apparently Ryan Reynolds REALLY fought to include him in this film, both as a way of saying "no hard feelings" and also as a way to say "Yes, it DOES matter!" for the films before the MCU. Just like the message of the movie itself.
