Season one was just an incredible piece of TV. If season two is the same, or better, this show will be a classic.

For what it's worth, I interpreted the golden shine on Mel at the end of last season as a reflection of the light from the "missile" that was about to hit, but your idea of it being a protection device is an intriguing one :) . Can't wait to see season 2 :) !

This series is such a masterpiece. In so many ways. It is absolutely, without a doubt, my favorite animated ANYTHING, ever. Series or movie. I am overjoyed to know that they are going to END it after this season, and not continue to milk the franchise with ever-increasing mediocre seasons, diluting the achievement of this well-thought-out and executed story. The animation is great, and I will watch anything Fortiche produces for the rest of my life. The music of the first season is also so fantastic. I still listen to "Guns for Hire" regularly, and it still gives me chills. It's one of those songs that can truly be called "EPIC". I will watch this season with any of my favorite reactors who watch it, and I'm glad you will be one of them, Angela!

Oh WOW! My adrenaline is through the roof. Every single emotional experience from season 1 comes rushing back....😱🤩 It seems like Sevika will accomplish what neither Vander nor Silco could do - unite the whole of the underground behind Jinx as a symbol of resistance...🤔😅😍🙈 A pit fight Vi, a short haired Sevika, an awakening Arcane, a sheriff Caitlyn with a hextech gun, a young red haired enforcer protégé that looks suspiciously like an older Ren (Marcus daughter...🤔), though this would only work with another time jump...🤩😍💖💔😱🙈✨😨🤗 God, I could go on and on forever, so I better hit the breaks now. Let's just say I'm so hyped and can't wait for it to be November...😃🙈💖

Some people think it could have been protection. On Mount Targon, the Mount Olympus of Arcane, aspects of God's exist and many treasures bearing magical and divine power. And there is item that has been in game for years called Locket of the Iron Solari. A gold treasure that when activated, shields the wearer, and most importantly nearby allies, from harm. It's believed that Mel's golden armor is a Solari treasure of protection.

I definitely thought that was Viktor's foot in the trailer when the golden light is growing on the group of people. Also we see the hexcore flashed across the screen a few times throughout it. Super excited to see combat Heimerdinger and how the whole season goes through!

The trailer has Vi with 3 hairstyles: her classic short red (enforcer Vi), short black (pit fighter Vi), and long with mostly red and a bit of black (when she's on the sled with Ekko). Seems to track with a time jump. Though it doesn't fit with your example so maybe that's not Marcus' daughter? Or I've got the hairstyle order backwards? IDK. Either way I'm excited to see how it plays out. I think they could cover a lot of storytelling ground with a time jump (and give us 2 kinds of flashbacks too).

I'd love if we can see Mel again, even though it makes sense from a character motivation perspective for her to be a goner. Cait, Ambessa, and Jayce (I assume Jayce is the one in the chair that Ambessa is talking to) would have all of their traits turned up to eleven if Mel is off the board.

For me it always looked like "Enforcer-Vi" and "maybe-Ren" are part of the final "Jinx-fighters" in the third act...🤔😅 After either one longer or two shorter time jumps. No matter what will happen, I know I will enjoy every second of this shows second season so much...😍💖... it was mapped out from the beginning, so a drop in quality (especially in storytelling) is not very likely...🙂

Seeing Vander in that form reminded me that in the first episode he’s referred to as “the hound of the underworld” which seems heavy foreshadowing for a zombie werewolf character.

I was thinking maybe Enforcer Vi was Act 1 and that we might even see Jinx get caught in Act 1. Which could lead into a time jump in Act 2 with time for: flashbacks, Vi being angsty, taking a breath to dive into how stuff has changed with The Arcane, Viktor, Singed, Ekko, Heimerdinger, and also show how Jinx's "legend" grew while she was in jail. I don't wanna think about it much harder tho. Would rather just be gobsmacked 😅

oh damn hold up i just remembered that jayce has that bracelet with a hex crystal on it, which lines up perfectly with the wrist in the shot i was mentioning. so nvm i think that shot was jayce's arm. still think we get viktor tho

I'm not sure which one of them it is! I know in splash art Viktor has something glowing on his wrist, but it's an exact match to the stone in Jayce's bracelet. The wrist looks to skinny for Jayce but too thick for Viktor, that's definitely Viktor's staff being held, but the pinstripe pants don't match either of their clothing. They're so good at their teasers with no true reveals!
