One thing I just have to say and get off my chest, because no one is catching it. When Helaena forgives Alicent…everyone is focusing on what Helaena is forgiving her for (which is fair to think, though fairly clear). But what I think is more important is Alicent…she ended the last episode trying to confess to her father about her sins, but he rebuffed her. But Helaena forgave her, without any confession. I’m not even sure Helaena was forgiving what Alicent was going to confess (but maybe). But I think that moment meant so much to her quietly, and maybe will lead to her to begin to rebuff Cole and maybe set up her to be willing to listen to Rhaenyra. Also, the little bit with the self-described half Targaryen was interesting, because in episode 2 in the brothel, they also lingered on a particularly blonde-haired entertainer dancing there. I wonder if the people the Targaryen’s have fathered in the brothels will have a big part to play coming up.
