I am also a long-time member of Team Cyclops as an OG fan of the OG cartoon, so thrilled with his portrayal here- using his optic blasts to mobility slide in the rescue fight, and then the headfirst airdrop blast into the superhero landing and then, "To me, my X-Men" chills. I have some idea of what's to come, or at least suspicions, because of my familiarity with the comics, but this show has always mixed and matched and reshaped and reinterpreted and re-imagined stories from the comics, so I don't actually know what's to come. Which makes it all the more exciting. I think Charles left Magneto the X-Men to try and sway him his own side one last time, posthumously, by forcing him to lead the X-Men, so he could be shaped by leading them, instead of his usual cohort of thugs and minions.

Amaras

Magneto being the leader of the X-men is one of the best decisions they could’ve make. He has the drive, the charisma and the powers of a Leader. In present comics his one of the finest mutant there is. (I dig the long hair too !) As for Roberto it appears in the Day of Future Past movie and in the New Mutant one, along Anya Taylor-Joy. Sunspot is pretty bad ass !
