I'm really loving your thoughts because I'm remembering having similar feelings about the characters when I watched it on the original run. However, not spoiling anything but, Farscape makes for well-rounded characters whose relationships with each other change, so how you feel in on ep, may not be your feelings about the same character in a few more episodes.

I'm probably in the minority, but I like that you're watching in broadcast order, because it means you're going on the journey the same way those of us who were watching during the original airing did. DVD order is arguably better for bingeing because of the episode-to-episode flow, but due to the heavily episodic nature of the first season that doesn't come into play so much when you're watching an episode a week, or every few days.
