Thank you all for the suggestions submitted in previous monthly polls! I paused the poll and spent much of the time of the last a few weeks reading through the thousands of votes to reflect and make sure our direction does not stray off course and your expectation.
Barring bad optimization which is already being addressed in the rebuild, most of the complaints about the game revolves unpredictable development timeline and missing of meaningful gameplay elements.
I have to admit that a rigorous schedule is rather difficult to maintain and enforce for a project that grows unchecked with feature creep, patron requests and the ambition of the creators. My original plan was that before entering early access we should explore as much possibilities as possible and build a framework as sturdy and expansive as we can, because we won't have the leisure to reconstruct the project anymore after the ship is sailed. That was a lesson painfully taken when we found out that Fallen Doll: Origin turned out to be a shaky scaffold no longer capable to support the introduction of new techs and features. Future proofing is the top priority of this rebuilding - apart from fixing what is broken, we aim to keep the game's graphics in tip top shape even after entering Unreal Engine 5 era.
