I really like the way Kurapika’s kindness is framed in this arc. He’s gentle and empathetic, but also quite judgey and self-righteous. It makes him feel so damn real, especially when he realizes he himself hasn’t lived up to the high standards he has set for people. For example, apologizing and feeling embarrassed for his rude behaviour towards Leorio in episode 1. A very balanced character that I was pleasantly surprised by, and has remained a solid favourite.

I'm surprised you haven't made the discussions in a podcast format yet. Or rather I use them in the same sense of a podcast ocassionally. Sometimes I watch the reaction at work and drive home listening to the discussion.

Definitely like how Gon's fight was handled and how he gets an ultimately unsavory victory yet again. Great talk on his character. Got quite a bit from Killua this ep, the first time we got into his head I think.
