Glad to hear that your Monster reactions have been doing well on YouTube. On paper I suppose it's surprising to hear that it's been exceeding the FMA reactions, but I suppose as you say the sub/dub divide for that one will have an impact, but also I suppose there are an awful lot of the FMA reactions out there, whereas Monster seems to have comparatively few, despite the show itself being held in very high esteem by the community. One thing I've got to query, Petra must be pretty rapid, to have unlocked her front door to let Tenma in and then returned to her chair to knit in the time it took him to open it, quite impressive at her age! Either that, or she must have some sort of system for locking or unlocking the door remotely, a Caractacus Potts contraption or something. Certainly quite the lady! Bit of a side mission, this episode, but that's not in and of itself a bad thing by any means. Quite a nice episode for the character building of Tenma, and, as ever in this show, some very well done side characters in Petra and Schumann.

These self contained stories are quite comfy, gotta say I'm most impressed with the characterization so far. Dr Schumann was a great character, really admirable to offer Tenma protection at the end there. Part of me wishes Tenma would've just stayed in the village.
