We finally have the name drop of 511 Kinderheim. I know we are barely into the show and have only just reached the double digits but with this episode you can tell the ball is starting to roll. Such crucial information is given this episode. Nature vs Nurture is one of my favourite topics so I love when it features in fiction. Mainly because there is no true answer. One lil moment in this episode in particular always gets to me in hindsight is when Tenma finds Dieter first and treats his elbow. The look that Dieter gives him as he’s doing it breaks my heart. Once you know what is happening to him the body language and facial expressions just screams fear. And yeah I remember thinking “okay Tenma maybe you can get away with how you look but MY MAN at least change your name when you are talking to people!” I guess Tenma’s naïveté is still very much present.

Is very interesting discovering more about the past of the twins. Knowing that there are still orphanages where the kids aren't treated the best is so terrible, it really grounds the story even if there may be more to things Tenma does need to stop giving his name and change his appearance at least a little, yeah a japanese man walking around during that time in Germany wasn't common but don't make it so easy I just hope Dieter remains safe :/

Tenma's identity is something that is indeed jarring when looking at it from a realistic standpoint. Giving out your real name when wanted is not really the smartest thing to do. At the same time, it really shows how opposite Tenma is from Johan. On one hand you have Johan, someone responsible for many murders, all while under different aliases and with no current convictions. On the other hand you have Tenma, going around accused of murder, but helping (and practically healing) the people he has come across.
