I can understand you saying that there feels like something missing in the time skip when it comes to Tenma's countenance, despite being fully on board with it. I think it'll settle in for you the more you watch! But I also personally think that the whole Fortner murder arc *was* Tenma's catalyst for the cynicism on display. The training episode was there to justify his newfound skills, but the mentality was forged in losing the Fortners and the reporter. I have to reaaaally watch what I say and how I say it here so I'll just leave it at that while I bite my tongue! So glad you're enjoying the show!

I really liked Heckel I hope he remains for at least a while. I agree that you can see Tenma's demeanor is so different now, and yet he still helps people and touches peoples lives even without consciously trying (at least imo) he's just that kind of person. Johan really is a master manipulator huh
