Season 2 was already confirmed a while ago so you don’t need to worry about the current 9 episodes not being enough (and imo they work really well as a stand-alone thing already). Really looking forward to future episode reactions, there’s going to be so much for you to talk about haha

Said this before, I’ll say it again. This is the perfect show for you. The visual storytelling is the best I’ve seen in animation, no hand holding. No filler. Every scene matters in the context of the narrative.

Oh, the visual storytelling is really incredible! Every scene or shot is important. Every expression or look on the face really says something. And I loved seeing your expressions watching this episode!👌🏼✨️ Especially at the beginning with Jayce's backstory! That sequence is stunning indeed! This episode introduces so many great characters! And your observations about each of them were very well put. And yes, as you so well said, the way the characters struggle, need to build their own path, how not everything is just good and evil, how people are a result of their environment and circumstances...that's it! Exploring human nature! And the show manages to do that with excellence, which is why we love it so much! ✨️

A lovely one. You don't need to worry about the lore bit, they really back down a bit later on. Although they could've provide a lot more lore it's pointless in a context of this story. There will be namedrop of other big region down the line but thats about it in terms of global world lore. Some of the things lore wise: * Heimerdinger's race is called Yordle, they are said to be immortal or very long living i guess * World's name is Runeterra, which is connected to the 'World Runes' which are basically strong sources of 'Arcane', which in the wrong hands can provide those chaotic powers that Heimer is remenising about. * Viktor was intended to be a big namedrop yeah * The guy in the council that said "they nearly wiped my race out" yeah I have no idea who he is and it seems like nobody does xd, there were some suggestions from lore nerds tho

Please react to "Bridging the Rift" as well! It's a brilliant look behind the scenes (often warts and all), and I think you'll find quite a lot to talk about regarding the craft behind this incredible series.

Good catch on Heimerdinger's name - it's a portmanteau of Schrodinger and Oppenheimer! Quite appropriate names for a character whose primary focus is the unpredictability and dangers associated with scientific discovery.

I'm glad you gave recognition to the strength of the sibling relationship this show has. Probably the best in an animated medium I've seen since FMAB, which is GOATed so that's saying something!
