Fun fact: In some manga extras formatted as a Q&A with the homunculi, it's actually revealed that Mrs. Bradley slapped Wrath because he complimented her ass on their date. It's weirdly wholesome. Lust and Envy decided to look out for their younger brother and actually helped Wrath court her by giving him advice and watching over him while they went on dates. Although Lust did her best to teach him how to speak to women, Envy told him "praise her appearance", so Wrath being the giga chad that he is, praised her ass. In a parody of her own story, Arakawa uses the scene from Ep 29 when Roy asks Wrath if he can ask him "one question" (who killed Hughes) to also reveal that Wrath is an ass man and "loves junk in the trunk". Top tier stuff haha. Layout & Key Animation – Hironori Tanaka https://i.imgur.com/ahzvpJI.mp4 Layout is a drawing that finalizes the foundation for a shot’s composition. Arguably the most underappreciated step in the anime production cycle. It expands on the often simple visual ideas found in the storyboard, precisely detailing both the work of the key animator and the background artist, and possibly adding further instructions for the compositing staff. Anime storyboards often differ from those found in western productions – usually being less detailed and confining, giving the layouters more creative freedom while simultaneously making the step more crucial. Layouts are more often than not drawn by the key animator in charge of the cut, but it’s not unheard of for an animation supervisor to handle a big bulk of them for an episode.
