I’m not sure what the mistranslation was, but I watched it recently on Crunchyroll, so I think I watched the corrected one. I don’t screen record though, I acquire a copy to sync with my footage in post, so I don’t know if the copy I used for the video was corrected or not.

I heard MAPPA started to have production issues around this episode so that might explain the drop in animation quality. Nothing too bad, just noticeable at times. I hope they don’t have issues with the season finale

Loved this ending so much and I don't know why, this one and ending 5 are my favorites just behind ending 1 wich didn't have visuals wich his a shame but the song carried it.

Two things to note: First: What was it you were thinking of when Makima was on the couch hmmm? XD Second: Crunchyroll's subs mistranslated the Future Devil's lines. Every other subs for this episode like Amazon Prime or other languages got it right with the spoken dialogue. "Mirai de SAIAKU na shini kata o suru," the Future Devil said in this episode. "You will die in the WORST possible way," is the correct translation. It literally had "Saiaku" as the spoken Japanese phrase, so the anime did not change anything from the manga. "Saiaku", the Japanese word for "the worst", "disastrous", take your pick. But it does not mean "Fucking Rules"... Crunchyroll subbers mixed up the word "Saiaku" with "Saikou", which have complete opposite meaning to one another. I double checked to see if the manga also said this (without trying to spoil myself of course) and the panel of the scene seems to back this up.

The translation error is that the Future Devil says “You will die in the worst way possible” rather than “Your death will fucking rule”. As an anime only though, I felt the former was implied by the VAs tone and I was able to pick up that Aki’s death wont be pretty…

MAPPA totally killed the casting on Future Devil. It was pretty dark to ask Aki to say “the future rules” lol I love how Fujimoto plays with our expectations. You’d expect the Future Devil to be creepy, scary, or maybe solemn but instead he’s just a funny little tree who wants to party

Yea the translation wasn’t a big deal really lol if a devil says something rules than its clear its the opposite for who it’s happening to. Also crunchyroll changed it because of the complaints so it says fucking worst now

Well a lot of people didn’t get the message so the complaints were valid, but this is Im so he probably would’ve been fine regardless of the change
