I actually started watching CSM and FMAB because of you, funnily enough, I'm on the pivotal episodes for both right now (8 and 14), so thanks for that! Absolutely love the soundtrack that plays during himeno's death here, been on loop

Welcome to Fujimoto’s wild ride, baby! Most of the Himeno scenes at the beginning were anime only. I think the care dedicated to her slice of drunken life animation was a fitting send off to her from the staff. This episode is also the first one that really captures CSM’s 0 to 60 style pacing. Excited for the discussion

I just found out that apparently the composer for this show is the same as the one for A Silent Voice, one of my favorite movies of all time. No wonder the music/sound design is so good, the similarities are so obvious now. Also Im, you should watch A Silent Voice if you haven’t already lol, it’s amazing and is almost certainly something you would enjoy
