Yaaaas! Finally! It's going to be the greatest thing. Shoutout for checking the dub as well. I think Edward is great there, and Bradley too. Especially later on. Again I'm getting addicted to these on a weekly bases goddamn.

Exited that FMA is back! have you considered with these longer series that have 20 minute episodes having the reaction and reviews be of 3 or so episodes at a time? I feel like that could save alot of time in the long run since the whole show would take over a year to fully cover at a 1 ep per week schedule

Concerning the coding of Edward's alchemy notes, there was some information in a separate Guide Book that I don't think is ever revealed in the manga or anime. It's a minor detail so I don't think it spoils anything but I'll leave some space just in case. Edward codes his own alchemy research notes in the guise of a travelogue, as they are traveling all the time. They are so well coded that not even Alphonse can decipher them. Additionally, Roy Mustang codes his research with names of women and dates, making them look like a record of his romantic adventures.

As with all your reaction/reviews, it's so refreshing seeing someone understand and analyze the show instead of only having a surface level reaction and just moving on to the next episode. Really looking forward to this whole reaction series now that it's back!

Yep, Edward was great in the dub. As of this point it’s similar to Light, where I thought that both Sub/Dub were on equal footing. Excited to strap in for the long run!

Can’t say I’ve considered that approach, but I should mention that at some point I do hope to get to two episodes a week. That’s the goal, the plan certainly isn’t to have this be one episode a week right till the conclusion.
