I noticed that the sheep guy was at Jana's reception. I know his name, but has his name been mentioned at any point? Was it on Egon's original police report on the dead sheep or did he introduce himself at the investigation?

Do the deep dive. The creators have handed it to you on a platter and it'd be rude not to dig in. You want to, and you'd clearly be all up in there already if you were watching this on your own. Personally I'd do it just to spite those telling you not to.

The way I look at it is that if you don't look at the tree (at all even during first viewing) it'll make certain "reveals" exciting. However the show and story are good enough that seeing clues/info that "spoil" said reveals don't actual ruin the experience because the moments are done well enough that you still feel satisfied and instead enjoy how everything connects. A good story will allow for both options to be equally enjoyable which I think they accomplish here. Like you explain though we are literally given this information by the writers so its not even a spoiler in that regard.

In case you ended up not doing the deep dive, try to visit this website https://dark.netflix.io/en It’s an official website from Netflix where they make you select the last episode you’ve watched and then show you a modified tree with the confirmed relations and info about the characters up to where you’re caught up. It’s really cool actually, the design, the features and the way everything is represented are so well done. There are also other segments for other info not related to the tree, such as the objects that had a journey through time like the time machine briefcase and Michael’s letter. It mostly covers everything you should know up to that point, including the minor details. I’m pretty sure you won’t need it that much since you are our sharp Filmbuff😂 but it’s really worth a visit at least. And try to visit it again when you finish the show to enjoy the full experience.

Go for the deep dive, I'm all for another "good ol' session of zoom and enhance" 😂

Became a Patreon member strictly for your reactions to this show and HAD to have the early access! Haha thank you for letting us live this story again vicariously through you!

I believe you are already WAY ahead with the information ... the reveal you got with Bartosz is a LOT more than I was capable to catch in my 1st watch. Actually I was completely oblivious during my 1st watch :D Highly recommend checking https://dark.netflix.io for family and simply select the episode you`re on so it`s spoiler free. I sometimes go on it just for the amazing background noise.

Forgot to write my vote: I say there is no need for you to return to the family tree :D

I swear, a week is too long. :D

I'm there with you on the matter of the family tree. It's there in the show, so it was clearly intended to be seen. I didn't stop to analyze it my first time through, but that's because I didn't have the hinderance of needing to stop to explain my thoughts to an eager audience and promptly finished the series probably within the subsequent day anyways. And besides, I personally appreciate this channel for the more in-depth analysis as compared to other channels are a bit more casual. Both have their merits, and I guess it's not too surprising that some viewers have strong preferences, but I'm glad we have this space at least to entertain the 'deep-dives' lol.

I know I’m late to the party but I would love to see a deep dive into the family tree. Even if you’ve already caught everything there is to be caught on the surface level, talking through and further analyzing may bring to light possibilities that may not have been noticed before. Plus it makes for great content :D
