There is plenty of time until January for me to have a revisit your reviews of this season, and then let it "sit" for a bit. Quite an intriguing story so far. I think I said it in a past reaction, i still hope we get to see more of Thors!

"End of Prologue".......... The perfect title for the perfect season finale. I haven't read the manga so I am quite anxious about whats coming next. I don't know if we'll ever see a character as amazing as Askeladd, but I guess we have to accept that his story has come to an end and the journey will continue without him. January 2023 can't come fast enough

Can't wait to watch s2 with you. According to my counting, I've fully cried 4 times reading the manga after the prologue. It really is incredible further on. Even better than this would you believe. Askeladd is still a goat tho. Also I'm so excited for you to come back to FMAB. LM reactions girls are crying every episode right now. Every time I rewatch/see a reaction on it, I'm getting stuggered on how incredible the writing there is, EVERY episode has something amazing and touching to show you, while also progressing the story in a perfect pace. You would appreciate it once you return to it.

Thank you for your reactions. It was a nice finally having a reactor that appreciated the pacing of the "slower" parts of the show. It was always sooo annoying when reactors always said "well nothing happen in this episode" or "it's building up for a epic fight ". I can't to see what you react to next

There are characters as good as askeladd. some are a slow burners but vinland saga its filled with complex and interesting characters and the quality of the writing never dips, it only honestly, gets better, S2 its all about characters if you are looking for that.

Yeah, vinland was never about the spectacle. and some reactors might struggle watching the series if they are expecting that going foward. because the true themes of the series only gets more and more marked in season 2.
