finally got to see falco in action, love his design and how it relates to his name haha. all the action was incredible this episode but man magath and shadis were the absolute highlight of it, especially knowing how much you like those characters. loved seeing two sides of the same coin come together one last time, you legends will be missed.

Shadis and Magath are legends, they had one of the best deaths in the series. There’s times when I mention that there’s scenes that I prefer in the manga to the anime, but the port episodes do the opposite - they didn’t hit quite as hard in the manga, but they were given wonderful adaptions in the anime, absolutely brutal Edit: and Connie’s Levi moment is one of the best animations in the whole series along with Floch’s charge. Out of the whole series!

Great episode, probably one of my favorites in terms of animation made by mappa. I love the different style in the odm gear and action scenes, yeah of course it still falls behind Levi VS Kenny squad in season 3 ep 2, but that's because that levi scene is actually a gold standard for the entirety of anime modern animation. Please do not let the comments of jeagarists take away from your enjoyment of the episodes you're currently watching, when the same content came out in the Manga at the time, there wasn't this much of a divide, it's just more bigger and radicalized now because the final chapter really brought this fanbase into such a battlefield, I actually didn't like the ending, but I wish people moved on and didn't project their views so hardly on anime onlys.

I loved seeing everybody go absolutely wild and some of the extended sequences here definitely are a cut above the original chapter. And it's nice seeing some of the old S1 soundtracks back in this episode. As soon as Pieck corrected Gabi by calling Magath by his new title I knew it was over for him. That scene at the is executed to perfection. No sound of the explosion, just two greats going out with a smirk on their face, even if the scene is still incredibly sad. It's almost like it was destined that these two would meet. It just felt so right seeing them together even if it was just one scene.

I’ve read some comment before saying that both Galiard and Keith died while they were wearing the scouts uniform, which can mean that they died after finally becoming free each on his own way.

I love that with the reintroduction of the Female Titan they’re injecting all her associated Season 1 tracks back into the fold. It almost feels like a crossover. I hope we get even more of Annie and these old OSTs in Part 3.
