Almost the entirety of this episode aside from the scene with Ylva is original to the anime. WIT really did a good job making the experience even better.

on that comment of Vinland potentially challenging for best you've seen, I think it will take that top spot for the time being. This first season just snowballs, from ep 9 it just gets continuously better and better.

Just FYI the background art for this show are done by Studio Bamboo. They also did background art for other WIT's shows such as Ancient Magus Bride, Great Pretender and the latest one Vivy.

I got the Vinland Saga CD soundtrack after hearing some of the amazing OSTs that play in this series. I was also pleasantly surprised when I got the CD; it also had a pamphlet which included a few pages of just gorgeous scenery shots from the anime. I loved it!
