(DON’T READ THE REPLIES TO THIS IF YOU ARE ANIME ONLY) I really agree about how final seasons of popular shows tend to be rushed. MAPPA should definitely take as much time as possible to get it done. I hope AoT doesn’t end up suffering the same fate as GoT, or even just a similar fate

How were you able to instantaneously tie the woman in Zeke's vision to Ymir, and to both the color of the dress and the positions of some random dolls in a single frame in another episode. This man is 4 parallel dimensions ahead of everyone else

I thought MAPPA did a great job for the time they had with some really top tier highlights in Assault. But MAAAAN what a travesty to hire Yuichiro Hayashi to direct AOT but he isn’t allowed the time he really *really* needs to make it perfect and up to his standards. If you ever check out sone of his work in Dorohedoro you’ll see what he can really do with directing single episodes and having more time on his hands. Hayashi didn’t direct a single episode of AOT this year, only the series as a whole which is a huge task obvs and some significant storyboarding

Will there be a reaction to attack on titan part 2 teaser? It's a short 20 sec teaser but for someone like FilmBuff it can be a minor spoiler.

That Zeke scene has got to be one of the most baffling scenes of the series. It really seemed to me like he died and his power was being passed on, I mean, he wasn't even steaming anymore... But then you have that titan take him, which means he's probably not dead? How the hell does the titan save him? And why is it doing it in the first place? Sooo many questions, I'm so excited to get all the answers!

What a ride, don't get me wrong I'm stoked to see more anime content on the channel (especially something as great as FMAB), but going this long without any Shingeki is gonna feel like the old days when out of nowhere you'd get 2 vids back to back. It's been a pleasure watching all these reactions and I can't wait to see the rest. Again, thank you for all the fantastic content over the last few months, the quality has really gone up a notch and the effort does not go unnoticed.

You're right about MAPPA, especially considering how many shows they've been working on simultaneously, I think they did a great job. Imagine AoT getting the Jujutsu Kaisen treatment XD. It'll look incredible, just worried about how they'll animate a few scenes but either way, I think it'll look just as good, if not better than WIT (kind of a hot take but that's my opinion lol)

The events of this episode are what really sold me on Pieck as a character. I love that she doesn't blindly fold and go over to Eren's side as many had wished. It doesn't make any sense to me. The smile she gives to Gabi is easily may favorite moment in the episode. Gabi's been through the ringer not only in this episode, but ever since episode 6. This is like the first time that she gets some positive affirmation that someone cares about her and isn't manipulating her in any way. Yes Falco exist, but their situation is a bit complicated and Pieck is her elder, so there's a different tone to it. And Pieck pointing her finger at Eren is just the cherry on top, easily the MVP of this episode.

insane how you managed to predict a lot of stuff through just a couple frames. And I love how you notice that Jean's always asking the right questions. He's always thinking of both sides of the situation and it's why he's one of my fav characters for being so realistic and rational. His words aren't trying to sugarcoat what eren said but give hope and insight to the situation which also puts mikasa at some ease. Also subtle hints to jean's crush on her due to his concern. Zeke rlly is one of my fav characters, his perspective on life and the way he rlly does perceive death as 'relief' is shown through this scene. Especially at how peace he seems while dying. crazy how you remembered the dolls from the last episode considering how small a detail it was. also idk if you noticed, but mikasa took off her scarf. also the parallels between the ending of season 3 being eren looking out at the sea, pointing to the rest of the world has his enemies and the ending of season 4 part 1 being pieck pointing to eren as the enemy, implying that the world's enemy is eren. Such a switch on perspectives, where in s3 most ppl were feeling empathetic for eren and rooting for him, we now see eren as a possible villain of this story which is interesting. anyways loved the reaction, sad we won't be able to see more aot reactions but I rlly do hope you react to lost girls OVA! it's one of my favourites, the manga is even better, so i recommend you read on your own time!

I assume there won't be any early access when part 2 starts coming out. On that note can we expect the raw full lengh reaction to come out earlier than the actual episode reaction/post discussion on Youtube?

SLIGHT MANGA SPOILERS (don't read if you don't wanna know the manga community's general thoughts on the ending and production) Most of us expected Part 2 to consist of a movie considering the amount of CGI that will be required. I very much doubt MAPPA will be able to deliver Part 2 in a satisfying manner given their production problems. As for the story, well... looks like we have another GOT S8 on our hands.

"Shingeki will still have some sort of presence on the channel after today’s 4x16 upload. Doing a separate S4 wrap up video at some point in May, which will also cover the Manga chapters from Reiner’s backstory. Beyond that I will be checking out the Lost Girls OVA. I also plan on doing my first rewatch of the whole series, leading up to S4 Part 2. So there will probably be some Shingeki Revisited type videos leading up to Part 2. "

Ymir's bucket! My anime-only theory was that she was a poor farm girl who accidentally acquired the power and all the bullshit that came with it. I have more Ymir theories but they're a bit too much to go into. But just the thought of her being a child and a commoner is sad, because you just know she never asked for any of this to happen.
