Man I was so waiting for your reaction to this effing perfect episode!! Hyping, gut wrenching and roller coaster 20 minutes! As always you didn’t disappoint. This has to be one of the , if not the best episode I ve ever watched in any media or mainstream.

That last bit of the OP song that you really like is a callback to the song "Kakumei no Yoru ni"/ "Night of the Revolution". It's basically Linked Horizon's version of the 3A OP.

Damn! I can't wait for That Day. I hope I dont see you disappointed next episode because Armin survives the fall or something. I can see how people can really dislike that, but the series has never had the best physics, people fall a lot with the ODM and they don't really get hurt nor do they break their legs when they land at high speeds. Poor Marlowe, its pretty heartbreaking how he thinks Hitch is still sleeping as usual but a bit later they show us that she is just waiting for the return of the scouts. You mentioned Levi's one liners, well Mikasa has also had one for all of the 104 warrior crew, although hers are not as good. "Annie, fall", "Bertholt give him back" and this episode "Reiner come out" as she blows him away. Amazing discussion as always.

You managed to cover everything in the discussion. I can agree that Reiners resilience could be seen as a bit of plot armor but you also have to realize that Titan shifters are basically demi-gods and virtually unkillable. With the context of their powers given i don't think it deserves a plot armor critique just yet but i do understand that i could be seen as that. Great analysis as always and i'm really excited for the upcoming episodes.

You know what, I know that you are ahead so I'm just going to say it. SPOILERS FOR MIDNIGHT SUN: I think it's really great and entertaining that even an extremely perceptive and excellent reactor like you can make mistakes, as you very clearly do in this one. You completely missed the core conflict of the next episode - fighting over the syringe - because you missed the possibility that Erwin and Armin could both still be alive. This is how I know you're genuine (not faking it) and that you're human, honestly. SPOILERS FOR THAT DAY: The "Grisha's brother" thing is another example - it's such a plausible guess based on the information you do have, but off by just a little.

This episode absolutely destroyed me and midnight Sun destroyed me even more. These epiodes, Perfect game and the rest of this season solidified aot as my fav show period and theres more after this (before second part of S3 Death Note was still my favourite).
