This is twice now that Connie has been out of the loop, unaware of what was going on. In this case, he hadn't been part of the meeting regarding Annie's background report, so he wasn't privy to any of the information that Hange and the other Scouts that showed up had, nor their plans. So he just didn't know there was anything going on, and also probably didn't see them directly transform either. Anyway, I knew you'd love this episode for the fighting, been really excited for you to see it and glad you have! And that cliffhanger... "You damn traitors!"

Yessssss. I always couldn’t hate Reiner and Bertholdt like everyone else because you could just tell they aren’t evil and there’s more going on. I no longer feel so alone in that regard lol

Those tracking shots are also there in episode 5 when eren is going in rage towards the titan that ate thomas and there is also a badass tracking shot in ep 11 when eren is flying in city of trost just before turning into a titan to close the gate with the boulder. They are really breathtaking. And more are on the way i think.

There’s only one other episode of another show that comes close in “rudeness” of the cliffhanger at the end of this episode. And that is season 5 episode 13, “To’hajiilee” of Breaking Bad.

even though annie hasnt had any screentime, shes still quite relevant, she taught eren how to fight which proved to be extremely helpful in his future encounters, turns out fighting annie first was the best situation since it prepared him for the future, annie is the best fighter, and I do agree the show implies that annie would have won if she fought mikasa, the theme is all about being able to take someone down thats stronger, plus annie is a shifter so i doubt strength is an issue, and annie was for sure flirting with eren, or at least trying, eren didnt even realize it hense why she was like ''...and learn how to talk to girls'' eren aint a player thats for sure xD
