I do the same thing. Then I keep the tabs open and wait for a moment where everyone at my place is asleep and I can be alone with the goodness that is a filmbuff discussion.

I heard a rumor that in the original script of the manga, Sasha actually died there, and the editor or someone locked them selves in a room until the writer changed his mind and kept her alive lol.

That not a rumor that actually happen the editor was crying and lock himself in bathroom from original scene of sasha's death was so gruesome so the author decided to change it last minute

I don't know if you noticed but the move Sasha used to escape from that titan's grip was the the same one she used on her father to get the food on the ground. Nice how everything comes back together for her and her dad.

You mentioned Ymir have been there the whole time since S1. The anime (even the manga) have a lot of these hiding in plain sight early on. I mean the first time I rewatched the series, a little Annie made an appearance in episode 2 (?) i think. Right after fall of shiganshina when they were collecting rations. It was just a short cameo but she was there and it blew my mind. Makes me wonder what (or who) has been there in front of our eyes the whole time
