You're not supposed to confirm things that haven't been 100% canon in the anime, otherwise you'll spoil s03 events.

Just to let you know Erwin isn't actually this badass, in the combust sense anyway. I always thought it was strange why in the anime they switched him around with "mike" In the manga, Erwin is the one who drops his sword when he faces Levi, not Mike and its Mike who "captures" Levi, not Erwin. Erwin is above average in combat but no where near Mike and Levi's level.
