Haaaaaaaaaaaallo my friends!

This is your September Newsletter, aka the bizarre stream of conscious I like to call a monthly update. And boy is it an update. Life has been HAPPENING I tell you.

Thank you so much for all the birthday stream love. It was an absolute joy, and you made it so special/chaotic. I would say I’m about 70% back on my bullshit. Give it another month and we’ll be back up and running at full capacity. So, expect more streams, more regular videos, and more projects God, I might even get back on discord. The possibilities are endless!

Twitch Update

- Tuesday nights: Retro Game Night. Come suggest some fun games we’ve long forgotten about because they were god awful and my suffering is funny on camera.

- Thursday nights: Driving Simulator Night. Let’s see how many times I can get my driving license theoretically revoked.

- Saturday nights: ASMR rat Hangout. New security camera has arrived, the set up looks good, and the pasta nibbling knobheads are ready.

Videos Planned This Month!

Uni work is gonna be taking up a lot of my time this month, but I do have 2 new videos in the pipeline

1) Little Red Riding Hood on the NES: … you cannot make me do it…. Why the hell am I doing it… does free will even exist anymore?

2) Anubis 2: Three words. SWEET. FUCKING. BAUBLES.

I also have a few collaborations with some other, very fun content creators in the works. It’s all coming up Octavius!

Update on Me

June and July were bad, August was better, and I’m determined for September to be a full 180. Though it’s gotten off to a hellish start. In between uni work, fees, the rats, and uploads it’s felt like everything’s gone wrong in some way. I’m still slowly clambering back on top of everything, but I’m taking my time. Last thing I want to do is stretch myself too thin and need another 3-month break. But it’s looking up. I mean – this is my 4th newsletter! Technically, there were 5, but I couldn’t bring myself to hit post on the July one. All a bit too hard. Still, it’s the effort that counts!

Rats Rats Rats

Anyone that is lovely enough to follow my gubbins on twitter will know that I have had a mare with the rats recently. Detective Sgt trifles decided that the cosy indoor life was no longer for her, and so delicately yeeted herself out of my window. She managed to survive the 2-storey drop, only to hide for several days while I lost my mind with worry. I popped her bed outside and installed a security camera on the off chance she was alive and hadn’t been nabbed by a cat. And by coincidence, I saw her little tail peeking out. She was filthy, but absolutely fine. THE ABSOLUTE ARSEHOLE. It’s a good thing I love her.

But then, a few days later, I lost JB. He was two years old, and had had a very good life. He passed peacefully, and quietly – the opposite of how he lived. I’m a little worried about Flape, as he was from the same litter. I know they don’t live forever, but it’s still so hard when they go. I loved JB so much, even though he was an utter nightmare who nibbled everything and could not be trusted for a single bloody instant. I will miss that dickhead a lot.

Love you guys. Thank you for your support. As always, you’re the best.

John McCormick

Many years ago I had a pet rat named Houdini (escape artist much like your rat). This one some how reached out of his enclosure and grabbed my jacket and chewed off a piece. It upset me that he did that but he did manage to cut a near perfect square so I was also very impressed.

JB was the absolute epitome of dickhead. An absolute legend and we’re all gonna miss him. So glad to see you making progress with your health and importantly being really sensible about managing it.
