Page 79 WiP (crows and damaged buildings) (Patreon)

This page called for an outside shot of the school building, and I thought to myself... it’s been a while since we’ve seen the exterior of the school… oh right, Marvin blew that up in Chapter 1! 

Well, chronologically not too much time has passed since Chapter 1 and now, so the school building hasn’t had time for repairs. I thought I could just ignore it and draw the building as usual (that would probably raise some questions though), but I figured showing the damage would be a fun callback to the previous events.

So I added detail until I was satisfied, but then remembered that I was also going to place some sound effects over the panel, effectively covering up most of the work (d’oh!). But I think enough of it will still be viewable, and it’ll give the subsequent sound effects a good backdrop before we switch back to the scene inside.

Oh and crows… because crows - but also, it’s a timing related thing. It should make sense when the page is complete. This will be fun :)
