All right. The $10 tier will be getting more NSFW bonus content this month, but in the mean time here is a freebie for all. I decided to do some portrait practice to see if I could continue to push my style, so here is a drawing of Mia Fey (character from Ace Attorney), because really, she is just the hottest.

The takeaway from this experiment? Style to me is about confidence. Not necessarily in yourself, but in your decisions. You must make bold confident moves and commit to them. But you also must consider each move in relation to the whole. No moves are made in isolation and every stroke is related to the form in which it resides. I am also learning that shape and form are two different things, but when shape is applied to form you start to get some interesting results. 

I've spent a lot of time studying other artists, seeing what works... but lately I've been wondering what I can learn on my own. The process can be HIGHLY informative if you let it speak to you.
