Page 20 WiP (scene composition) (Patreon)

Here's an interesting peek at a panel in progress from an upcoming page. For this scene I needed a large establishing type shot to show where the characters are in relationship to each other (for example, it's important for the reader to understand that Sharlene and Marvin are facing each other on opposite sides of the room). It also needs to show the space of the room and allow the characters to be positioned in a way that enables them to speak in order. It took a little effort but I think I found the right angle and framing. Although not dynamic or very stylish it's effective in what it needs to do. Still some more detail work needed for the background and then it's on to the rest! I'm starting to get excited now...
