Hot Shit High Ch 2, Page 7 (Patreon)

Page 7 is up! Fun fact: this page was mostly improvised... The script called for this scene to be one page, but I decided that this moment needed a little more space, so the shower scene will last for two pages instead one. This brief setup will also give the following page a little more context.

I made the choice to handle the opening shot of this scene with Sharlene putting her outfit away in her locker and walking over to the shower in one continuous shot split into three panels. I wasn't sure if this sequence would work the way I wanted it to but I think it does. I also intentionally decided to leave to leave the first four panels silent - meaning no dialog, sound effects, or narration. Many writers love to fill every panel with something to read, but sometimes silence can speak more than words. There is power in the silent scene, so I thought I'd give it a shot and keep this page brief in thoughts... After all, there is plenty to look at here.
