Back on track! Page 5 is done and it's onto page 6!

There wasn't any action or sexy bits in this page BUT this page and the following are important for story related reasons :) I enjoyed working on this page too since it featured Envy and Mi-hee. Getting those stacked bubbles in just the right spot in the first panel wasn't easy! But luckily they manage to introduce themselves by making a stupid joke AND name-dropping each other so the reader knows who is who early on.

Those new girls are absolute cuties

This page is so good, even without everything else. Just looking at that first panel introducing the new girls is so good. The perspective of them looking down right from the start of their introduction just says a lot about them as it is. And like you mentioned those word bubbles. Oof, so good! Flowed so well! Love these new girls, man. Your cast is all amazing. The goodness~

Yeah... I studied up on how to letter and create proper word bubbles, if you can believe it. I learned how to stack bubbles and how to create better reading flow throughout the pages. The way they do it in Western comics is distinctly different from manga and doujinshi. Unsurprisingly, it's a lot of work and requires some thought and planning to get right, but it's a really fun aspect of creating these pages. When the pages are easy to read you stay engaged and have a better time.

Careful Erotibot, first it starts out with "these two pages are needed for plot" and then suddenly it's "I know we haven't seen any sex in 40 pages but it's for worldbuilding". Just like the way InCase's Alfie has been going. Which is why it's my favourite comic... Right! So yeah! Be careful or you might accidentally start making a masterpiece! ... I think I got off track..
