Figure Practice (literally) (Patreon)

The first two pages of HSH2 are coming along nicely. I know they are taking a little longer than usual but I am taking my time experimenting with style choices that will last the duration of the comic, plus I'm really trying to make these first two pages shine.

In the mean time I thought I'd upload some practice work! Here are some drawings I did after actual anime figures. Believe it or not, studying from anime figures can be a valuable resource because the figures themselves have perfect balancing and a good deal of anatomical stylization. This can be a really fun way to study and can definitely help you zone in on those cutesy looking proportions that we all love too.
