working progress of wolf with tentacles pic (Patreon)

I decide to re-do a picture from before since I really hates it.

so the frist thing I notice is the back ground is too simple

makes it even hard to create the depth of a picture.at the secound  step I decide the shoulder part should be a focus point .so I paint the background black .gives it a high contract .

since it's black and looks like a cave .I went for it.....

so here is the tip.

most of people don't like to put time on background .they just want as much detail on the character.it works with portrait .but with a picture in a bigger view .it's really a bad choice.

it should have more stuff in the background since stuff from far looks small.it's really a great way to create depth of an image.also a good way to tell story.makes the picture more fun.

u don't need to polish it .u just have  to make it more complex.and blur it out after
