The Wok Re-Pot #7 (Patreon)

Greetings Eldritchables to The Wok Re-Pot, a monthly report of some updates and news about how the Patreon is going.  Hoping ya had a spooky Halloween filled with good treats and meets!

Today's news is: I'm updating the Triple Set Poll into a more open ended Sequence/Comic Poll, got myself a new kitten to adore and  feeling a little reflective on my art.

The triple set polls have been something I've had a lot of fun drawing but I feel a little too creatively restricted by the pinup structure lately. I enjoy drawing pinups but I've noticed a lot of my work is singular illustrations making the Triple Set Poll feel a little redundant and stifling to my creativity.  Going forward I'm going to open it up to comic-style stories and other sequenced material, to try to write and draw more complex narratives into it. The title of the Poll will also be updated to "Sequence/Comic Poll" to reflect these changes.

I got a new cat which I've been relatively quiet about in the sudden case he gets rejected by my current older cat Ash. It's been about two weeks and they're finally getting along and are comfortable with each other. New kitten is a black and white british short hair with a really energetic personality, which is a huge shift from my current cat who is quite cautious and anxious. Embarrassingly enough, I was playing a bit too enthusiastically with him recently and sprained my shoulder which has led to some streaming schedule disturbances, sorry for that.

I haven't picked a name for him yet but so far I've thought of calling him Miso, Taro, Maru and Tabo which have all been made from an exhaustive list. I've posted some photos of him for your viewing pleasure via the discord server.

Lately I've been looking much more fondly on my new art style and seeing the progress I've made since last year, and I'm really glad I got to draw so many fun and challenging illustrations from all the patreon polls and commissions. It's also been a blast talking to some big name artists and writers who have been just as excited to talk to me about my art, which has been new experience for me. As long as I've been drawing it still warms my heart to no less degree than ever before when people tell me they sincerely appreciate my talents. Unfortunately art has been a bit slow as not to push my damaged shoulder, but I'm closing the gap on overdue polls, so I'm grateful for all the patience and support sent my way!
