wow... wow!!! this is so inspiring to see your sketchbook and some of your traditional process!! i really like the architectural studies that were scattered in here, it's cool to see some scenery! also really like your use of color and how similar it is to how you do digital art, it's amazing that you can translate it so well between the two mediums!! i love the variety in sketches too. you communicate a lot with not too much detail; it makes the sketches way easier to read later on i imagine!! i hope your new year's was great, and that you have another productive year in 2021!! edit: I'm curious what kind of sketchbook you use? it seems to hold acrylic and watercolor paints really well and I have yet to find one that does!

:'oooo this is such a thoughtful and lovely comment thank you!!! my sketchbook is stonhenge but im not sure they sell outside of australia, esp given that i have a tough time finding them here even :') its cotton paper and its probably the best sketchbook ive ever used (no ghosting at all with water-based markers, can take a surprisingly huge amount of water when doing watercolours, very little warping, not overwhelmingly textured, you name it)

It’s soo cool to see more of your design/thought process! I was really impressed by the ones where you’re using lots of different colored markers (?) for highlights and shadows on faces, especially the blue/lavender one over the pen drawing of andrah (?). Actually everything on that page.
