Concepts for Shar's blade (Patreon)

Some sketches while I was waiting at an auto body shop.

Although it hasn't appeared much in any comic pages I've posted yet, Shar carries a very special knife. It's been puzzling me for a while, trying to figure out a blend of military functionality with a touch of aristocratic artifact-value to it. She's basically a high-ranking feudal lady, and whatever blade this is needs to reflect that while still looking like it can pierce between armor plates and be used in close quarters combat inside a cramped airship corridor.

So far I think these designs are only about 80% there, and some of them look more like something Shar's rank & file troops would carry rather than her. I'll probably keep the rectangular sheath, but the rest of the knife needs a little bit more "artifact quality" to it, something mysterious or ancient to suggest it's been passed down for generations. I've got some ideas, so expect this to evolve a little more.
