It's VReleased Dev Blog Time! (Weekly Update) (Patreon)

Hey Patrons, it's time for another VReleased development update!

We have been working on a variety of things, but our main focus is on getting more model options, and then eventually clothing options. This is a lot of trials and errors to find the best workflow for getting the same item to work across all models. It also means getting all models to work in all present and future environments. It's a task much easier said than done, but we are making huge progress! A great example of one circumstance is out "Endurance Testing Dildo Chair Scene", you can see how a tall girl would have completely different positions and animations to a tiny girl. In fact, depending on the difference we might have to dynamically change the positions of the chair restraints to accommodate the current chosen model correctly. Also, we have to plan for other "scenes" that don't exist yet. Luckily we have thought of some really creative ways to handle problems like these, but they do require a lot of trying things out and testing how they work. This can be a bit time consuming now but will be worth it down the road. There are still some kinks we have to work out, but we are confident we can figure it out.

Another huge breakthrough this week is making out "soft body" boob physics generic. Our first version was pretty hardcoded to the current model, and it was very hard and time-consuming to add it to any new characters down the road. It was a great prototype but needed some changes to work on a bigger scale. We have fixed that problem and now should be able to use the same base code across all of our new characters as we implement them into our game.

On our last week's post, we talked about doing our first public-facing social post demoing our new game. We decided to hold off on that last week so we could create a nice promotional video that puts our best foot forward. We think it turned out awesome, and can't wait to hear what you all think!
