I started to feel tired and eventually fell asleep in Lila’s embrace. When I awoke, I was once again laying in the same hospital bed with Lila asleep in the chair to the side of the bed. The news was playing again, so I turned up the volume to hear what was going on.

“The Pokémorph virus continues to spread into the Aola and Unova regions. A total of 200 people have been turned into Pokémorph’s within the past 24 hours. It would seem that the virus is growing in strength.”

“Many other Pokémorph’s have finally woken up. The U.N. is meeting today to discuss what should be done about them. In the past few days since the virus has spread several questions have been asked.”

“Are Pokémorph’s contagious? Are they still considered humans or are they Pokémon? And can they ever be changed back? These are just a few of the questions that people across the world are asking.”

“As regards to the whereabouts of Marcus Dust and Professor Cacturn, there is still no news of them yet. However, we have received news this morning of the location of his wife and son.”

“18-year-old Josh Dust and 37-year-old Alice Dust are currently located in the Sinnoh Regional health hospital. Our inside source has told us that these two were the first two affected by the virus. It would seem that even his family was nothing more than disposable pawns to him. Reports have also shown a singularity in Josh Dust’s transformation that has not shown up with any other Pokémorph’s before. Josh Dust is as reports say now 100% female.”

“What the hell was that!?” I yelled, waking Lila up once again.

“Huh? Josh what’s wrong?” she asked me, rubbing her eyes to help wake herself up.

“Look at that,” I said to her, pointing at the tv.

“How!? The hospital said that they would disclose anything with the news!” Lila said getting angry along with me.

I wanted to shout at top of my lungs in rage, but I stopped when I started hearing a commotion outside. Lila and I looked out the window of the room to see a hoard of people crowding the hospital. There were too many people shouting over each other to hear what they were saying, but it was clear to me why they were there. They were here for my mother and me.

“Nurse! Nurse!” Lila yelled for the nurse to come in, though a different one than yesterday showed up. “What the hell is this,” she said pointing out the window towards the crowd that was after my head.

“I-I-I don’t know,” she said back to us. “Let me get the doctor,” she said, running out of the room, and a minute later bringing the doctor from yesterday back with her.

“I am sorry but there was a mole here yesterday,” the doctor said, bowing her head to us. “The nurse that was here yesterday had planned to take Josh with her but was driven out by security before she could. Though it would seem that she did sell the information she had to the news.

“I am sorry, but everyone in the world now knows where you are and currently getting you and your mother out of here is impossible. Hopefully, in time the rioters will calm down, but until then you will have to remain here. We will increase security so no one can get in, but there is only so much we can do. We deeply apologize for this, and vow to make it up to you.”
