After taking a half hour to rest, Ariana, Alice, and Alexis made their way back to the party When they got there they noticed that more people had left and the mood of the party had died down.

Though the people that remind were kind to Alice. Each and every one of them went over to her and did their best to try to understand what she was going through. All at the same time every one of her family members stood by her side to make sure that no one would try hurting her again. That was a mistake that they would make sure to remember. Alice was a fragile existence and one that was more than worth protecting.

Once the formalities were said and done, it was time for cake. Needless to say that the cake was huge. It was shaped like a giant Winged Kuriboh and it was decorated with red and blue frosting.

When her father and mother lit up the candles she was asked to make a wish. In her current state of mind and what just happened to her, there was only one thing that she wanted. As she blew out the candles she made her wish to stay with her new family forever. It didn’t matter to her if she had to stay a girl forever all that mattered was that she was with them since they were the people that truly loved her.

While everyone enjoyed their cake it began the time for Alice to open her gifts. As one would expect from the members of the Rhodes family,. Most of her presents were fancy dresses, clothes, designer shoes, and jewelry.

While Alice was grateful for these gifts and would perhaps use them in the future, none of them caught her attention. Her new relatives could feel the unease around her as they saw her open her presents.

After learning more about Alice, each one of them wished that they had tried to do a bit more research on her to try and get her what she liked. Unfortunately, that would have to wait until next time. Though Alice didn’t mind personally. For her, it was the thought that mattered. Her family before rarely gave her anything, so she was in fact overjoyed to receive so much.

From Atticus, she received a pocket watch to make sure that she would know what time it was so that she would be able to go to bed on time. A natural beauty such as hers could only be achieved if one had their eight hours of rest.

From Alexis, she got a red notebook. A lot has happened since Jaden was turned into Alice and there was a lot that she could tell. Perhaps having a journal/diary to write things down could help her overcome some of her fears.

Mina and Ariana had both gifted Alice a few dozen dresses each, but they were planning to give her something more to her liking when they get the chance. It was the least that they could do to make up for what they did.

Though the present that actually shocked Alice was from her father. He gifted her a booster pack of duel monster cards. And attached to it, was a note that said: My Study Midnight.

Alice didn’t know what he wanted from her, but she was curious to find out.
