Character Profile #3: Nomo (Patreon)

Race: Titan* (Origin)

Personality: Devious, Vengeful, Manipulative

Background: Although Nomo is a being unto herself, she was not always such. She is one of 4 parts of a greater titan which split itself for unknown reasons. Even the individual parts are not sure why the original chose to do this. The Original being was known as Ganmo-Ronku and was one of the beings responsible for the creation of human beings. Though they had very little to do with them after their creation. Nomo was the titan's sense of morality and was originally a very caring and forgiving being. However, as time passed, she witnessed more and more cruel acts by and against humans. Nomo eventually would seek out Maku who was the god's sense of Empathy. Maku was left nearly completely unable to feel anything but sorrow as war and strife plagued history. Maku was however a large chunk of power that Nomo could use to begin punishing lower beings for their crimes. This also allowed her to gain entry into the intangible titan realm which granted her even further access to powers only available as long as she stayed ethereal. She has since toyed with all races she feels deserves her anger. This has ranged from the rich and powerful to the lowest and inconsequential beings as she has nearly lost the ability to see the difference.

Epilog: Nomo eventually merges with Maku to fix her other halves broken emotional state. She does this after meeting with a persistent mage who makes her realize how twisted she has become. The new being eventually would seek out its other parts and become whole again. Though it's not clear whether the reformed being is truly itself or something new after the sum of its parts completely change.
